We understood that a consistent visual design was crucial for establishing a government brand that inspired confidence among its citizens.  To achieve this, we added continuity to the graphics used by the previous administration.  In addition, we implemented universal protocols that were later mandated for use in all government communiqué: online media, audiovisual works, and print campaigns.  The same visual branding was also used to introduce new polices and benefits to the general public.

We develop a wide variety of projects. This is a selection of some of the most relevant initiatives, including websites, books, and government campaigns.

Kit Digital

An open source gallery of government-approved resources available for download by governmental departments and citizens.  This platform took its name from the term “digital kit,” making reference to the idea of a “tool kit.”  It offers web frameworks, communication guidelines, icon galleries, and government-specific font types.  The platform also serves as a community forum for designers and developers alike to share ideas while working within the same (visual) parameters.

Users of the platform can also download manuals that provide instruction on implementing the new, governmental State-standard branding in non-professional work.  The manuals offer users a broad range of guidelines, such as creating social network ads, selecting graphic images, or formatting digital texts.

A substantial financial savings was made as a result of launching the open source gallery, KitDigital.  The platform provides resources with the continuity in graphic design and branding we desired, while eliminating the need for creating new source material with each new project.  KitDigital was designed to engage users through a community forum, and as such is meant to grow organically overtime.

A Visual Alphabet Of Communication

In theory, these graphics serve as a “visual alphabet” to be used across several government departments.  They also serve as easy-to-use tools for the non-professional user.  Their broad range application stems from the versatility in their design; their lasting impact is attributed to their universal appeal.
